College Kicked off New Academic Year with a Dialogue on Customer Service

Faculty and staff members gathered in the Burnight Theatre to officially celebrate the new semester on August 29. The Executive Council team kicked dust off their boots and introduced this year's theme Service Excellence with some country dance moves. Following that, the keynote speaker Dr. Neal Raisman presented on excellent customer service in higher education. Stay tuned, as the College will continue the conversations on service excellence and roll out several initiatives.

Study Abroad Pilot in Florence, Italy a Success; 2020 Program Set for London, England

Dr. Lisa Boutin-Vitela and Dr. Steve Clifford accompanied 26 students to study abroad in Florence, Italy over the summer. Cerritos College students enrolled in Dr. Boutin-Vitela’s Art History 102 and Dr. Steve Clifford’s hybrid English 102/English 110 classes shared apartments in the heart of the Renaissance city.
