Wrestling team

Falcon Wrestling Captures Fourth Straight SoCal Team Dual Title

For the fourth year in a row, the Cerritos College wrestling team captured the championship of the Southern California Regional Team Duals. The Falcons, who won the CCCAA State Team Dual Meet championship in 2016 over Fresno City College, will once again face the Rams for the title. Great Shakeout drill

Great California Shake Out Earthquake Drill a Success

Cerritos College joined millions of participants in the Great California Shakeout on October 17. At 10:17 a.m. students, faculty and staff practiced Drop, Cover, and Hold On procedures, and evacuated to designated areas. The drill was designed to simulate the proper steps in the event of a real earthquake. Minutes before the drill, participants were notified with safety information via text messages through the campus' emergency notification system.

Undocumeted student week

Undocumented Students Week of Action Raises Awareness

Cerritos College engaged in the statewide week of advocacy and activities to support and build awareness about undocumented students last week. The activities included free immigration consultation, town hall meetings, workshops, fundraising events, and resource fair.

The Chemistry Department will host a chemistry career exploration event on Tuesday, October 22. Local chemist Rick Ziebell, vice president of technology at R.D. Sign Up for Halloween Office Contest by October 24

It’s that time again! The Halloween Office Decorating and Costume Contest categories are: 1) spookiest office, 2) most creative office, 3) office with the most staff in costumes, and new categories judges' favorite and funniest. The winners will enjoy an office lunch party, courtesy of Public Affairs. Zombie Festd

Zombie Fest Returns! Donate Food and Supplies

The annual Zombie Fest on Thursday, October 31 at 11 a.m. in Falcon Square. Zombie Fest was created to address the food insecurity on campus. Students who finish the zombie-infested maze will receive a free shirt while supplies last. ASCC is accepting donations for food and supplies all month to address the food insecurity on campus. View the list of food/supplies
