College Celebrates International Education Week 

In celebration of the sixth annual International Education Week, the Office of International Student Services hosted a week full of activities featuring Kenyan craft, dance, music, student panel, lecture, film screening, and a language workshop. 
International Education Week is an annual celebration that brings the campus and community together to experience international culture.

Runners, walkers and strollers alike all participated in Cerritos College's 22nd annual Turkey Trot on November 21. The College's Thanksgiving time tradition gives students, faculty, staff and community members an opportunity to pound the pavement before they pound their way to Thanksgiving dinner while benefiting the local community... Native American Heritage Month

Native American Heritage Month Celebrated

The College celebrated Native American Heritage Month on November 19 and 20. The blessing ceremony and historical facts display on November 19 recognized the contributions and land of the Gabrielino-Tongva Tribe. A film screening of We are birds, A California Indian Story on November 20 was followed by a discussion facilitated by History Instructor John Macias.
