There is no formal application process to enter the LINC program.  Students can self-refer to the program or can be referred by school personnel, social worker, probation officer, caregiver, etc.

  • 1. Were you in foster care placement on or after your 13th birthday? (foster care placement includes non-relative foster care, relative care, KinGAP care) 
  • 2. Do you plan to enroll in at least 3 units? 
  • 3. Are you over the age of 16?

If you answered YES to these questions, please complete the interest form and we will contact you within 24-48 hours of submitting the form.

If you are not certain whether or not you were in foster care and need additional assistance, please contact Linda Ramos at 562.860.2451 ext 2371.


Once your LINC Interest Form has been reviewed, you will be instructed to schedule a "Welcome Session" appointment with Linda Ramos, LINC Program Facilitator.

To schedule an appointment please make sure to:


  • Log in using your student ID number and Birthday (MMDDYYYY)
  • Select Welcome Session from the list of Reason Codes
  • Select you appointment type preference; on-campus or virtual
  • Select Linda Ramos (far right column) then select Search to find available days and times to meet.
