Instructor infront of the light house

Education is time well spend! Learning and guiding your learning is a progressive discovery allowing your interest to be recurring.

My education began in this campus, Cerritos College, at the age of seventeen. I started classes the summer after completing high school. A year later, I completed the office technologies certification and the dean of the department, Maheya Sharp, offered me a job in the Multicultural Department. This was a challenge. My first job! Gradually my supervisors at that time, Ceci Medina and Graciela Vasquez, added unimaginable responsibilities to my schedule that were demanding: Proctoring exams, providing information about our program to numerous groups of people in auditoriums, presenting new project proposals to the college president, and participating as an instructor's assistant. Having these opportunities so early in my career I was able to organize my educational goals. I wanted to become an instructor at Cerritos College. Therefore, years later I transferred to California State University Dominguez Hills for my undergraduate studies and for my graduate preparation to California State University Long Beach. As a result, education is an ongoing process that will last as long as we are willing to update our information along with creating our own innovated ideas that can be shared in our current profession.

Message To My Students: Career goals become personal Goals! Visualize your career and focus not forgetting to enjoy the journey since those strategies lead your continual success.
