Math 80A Intermediate Algebra I

Prerequisite: MATH 60 or equivalent with a grade of “C” or higher or “Pass” or completion of the Math assessment/placement process with a score eligible for MATH 80A.

This course is the first half of Intermediate Algebra. This course explores the representation of functions and relations as graphs, formulas, and tables. The types of functions studied will

include linear, Rational Expressions, Exponents andpolynomials.  These functions will be used in solving a variety of equations, systems of equations and application problems.

Textbook: Intermediate Algebra Sixth Edition or Intermediate Algebra Second Custom Edition for Cerritos College.
