WHAT: Big Love is about fifty runaway brides who flee to Italy to escape forced arranged marriages to their cousins. Inspired by Aeschylus’s The Suppliants, the play by American playwright Charles L. Mee updates the ancient Greek plot into modern times.

The play tackles contemporary issues of gender politics and the balance of power, love, refugees seeking asylum, and domestic violence.
