Applications for Travel Abroad Available for Students Seeking Semester in Taiwan

Students teaching in TaiwanNORWALK, Calif. – May 1, 2018 – Cerritos College is currently accepting applications for its study abroad program to Taipei City. The College and the University of Taipei entered into a new agreement that gives current Cerritos College students an opportunity to study abroad in Taipei City as a University of Taipei student. Participants will also work as a Teacher’s Assistant, teaching three days a week in public secondary or elementary schools in Taipei City. Students who participate in the semester-long program can take courses offered through the University of Taipei at no cost.

Applicants must be current Cerritos College students, or a recent graduate, an English native speaker, and in good-standing with the College. Participants may also be a qualified California teacher.

· Register as a University of Taipei student and take any course offered at the University of Taipei at no cost
