Cerritos College Foundation Golf Classic Nets Nearly $70,000

Tilden-Coil Constructors and Other Corporate Sponsors Raise Funds for Student Scholarships and Programs

Golf Classics participantsNORWALK, Calif. – August 27, 2018 – The Cerritos College Foundation raised $68,000 in scholarship funds at its 33rd Annual Golf Classic. Golfers also helped to raise $13,900 for foster youth, beating last year’s goal.

Event sponsors included Title Sponsor Tilden-Coil Constructors, and a long list of corporate sponsors, including Canteen Vending, Office Refreshment Services, and Couts Heating and Cooling, Inc. Additional sponsors to support the tournament were Envise Co., Frantone’s Pizza & Spaghetti Villa, Gerald P. Roodzant, DDS., HMC Architects, HPI Architecture, Kaiser Permanente, and Letner Roofing. Pavewest, P2S Inc., RDM Electric, S&K Engineers, Southland Motor Car Dealers Association (SMCDA), The Pepsi Bottling Group, Viele & Sons Grocers, The Vinewood Company, Union Bank and Zebra Coffee, round the list of corporate sponsors.

The 33rd Annual Cerritos College Foundation Golf Classic is scheduled for August 5, 2019 at Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier.
