Medical Benefits

There are ten (10) medical plans offered to the District's full-time employees through CalPERS in which to select from. There are currently eight (8) HMO plans and two (2) PPO plans. 

CalPERS health premiums are established on an annual basis through CalPERS' rate development process. For more information, please refer to CalPERS' website. To view CalPERS' current health premium rates, please refer to the "Public Agency & School Members" rates as listed on CalPERS' website.  

All benefits-eligible employees are encouraged to create a myCalPERS account, regardless of their retirement agency, to access helpful resources and tools related to their health plan enrollment.
