Please Support Dr. Fierro -Real Men Wear Pink

Cerritos College has partnered with the City of Norwalk and the American Cancer Society (ACS) for 15 years to raise funds and awareness to fight the battle against all forms of cancer. Due to the pandemic, we are unable to host our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and Health Fair during October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

This year, Dr. Jose Fierro is representing Cerritos College in the 2020 American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink Fundraising Campaign.  This event is in support of the City of Norwalk’s Paint the Town Pink program. View the campaign video featuring Dr. Fierro.

Real Men Wear Pink gives men a leadership role an opportunity to join in the fight against breast cancer. Community leaders around the nation use the power of pink to raise awareness and money for the American Cancer Society's breast cancer initiatives, including innovative research, patient services, and education around screenings and risk reduction. It's one important way we're attacking cancer from every angle.

If you are unable to make a direct donation, we are holding three opportunities for you to donate while supporting local Norwalk restaurants. Just go to the restaurants listed below during the dates and times listed and let them know you are part of the ACS fundraiser. These restaurants will be donating a portion of your purchase to be divided among the RMWP Fundraising campaigns of: Dr. Fierro, Jesus Gomez -Norwalk City Manager and Norwalk Sheriff Captain James Tatreau.
