TELACU HEALTH Careers Program and CERRITOS COLLEGE NURSING DEPARTMENT:
A PARTNERSHIP FOR NURSING EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE
The TELACU Health Careers Program addresses the need to increase the number of Registered Nurses who are equipped to provide culturally sensitive and competent in-language care using a local workforce. TELACU recruits 2nd year ADN students to provide comprehensive training, supportive services and resources that prepare first generation college students to complete their nursing degree and achieve RN licensure. Students receive scholarships, as well as a full complement of educational and job-readiness services, including professional development seminars, certifications, counseling, and NCLEX-RN preparation.
Since 2015, TELACU has been recruiting ADN students at Cerritos College's RN Program, resulting in an investment of over $30,000 in scholarships. For more information, visit www.TELACU.com.
Cerritos College RN Program is proud to announce another (6) students chosen and provided scholarships and comprehensive services in January 2019! These students intend to graduate in May 2019!
