Academic Excellence Committee
Senate Committee for Academic Affairs
Purpose
- Assist Faculty Senate on issues of academic affairs when Senate delegates to
committee for research, dialogue, recommendations, or resolutions - Identifies standards for student success
- Identifies and rewards academic excellence among students
- Coordinates the Academic Excellence Awards program
- Monitors trends and practices on issues within the committee’s scope and communicates them to the college
Meeting Information
The Academic Excellence Committee meets from 11am - 12pm on the 3rd Tuesday of the month during the fall and spring semesters. Currently, committee meetings are held via Zoom.
