PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) APPLICANTS
The PTA Department utilizes a fully electronic application process.
The application window for Fall 2027 will be from 2/15/27- 4/15/27. Only electronic applications received between February 15 and April 15 will be considered for admission into the PTA Program.
*Applications for Fall 2027 will be due on Thursday, April 15, 2027, by 11:59 pm (Pacific Time)

The Physical Therapist Assistant is a skilled technical health worker who performs physical therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist. This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Complaints regarding the Physical Therapist Assistant Program should first be addressed through the PTA Program Director and/or the Health Occupations Dean. Individuals who believe the program may not be in compliance with CAPTE Accreditation Standards and Required Elements may submit a complaint to CAPTE after exhausting applicable institutional procedures.
