Business Administration and Management

The Business Administration Department of Cerritos College provides courses leading to  Certificate of Achievement programs, A. A. Degree programs, and individual courses transferable to many Colleges and Universities. Courses are taught from a practical point-of-view and are designed to improve your on-the-job knowledge, provide the extra information you may need for a promotion, give you tips to help you in a successful job hunt, and assist you as an entrepreneur.

It is highly recommended that students talk with a Business Administration faculty member or business counselor to determine which courses best suit their needs and/or which courses are needed to transfer to a particular college or university. Courses are open to all students who may benefit from the knowledge. Courses may be taken in any order as per the student's needs. (There are no pre-requisites.)

The Business Essentials Certificate of Achievement consists of 4 courses and is intended as an initial stepping-stone in the business world. It is included in your major Certificate of Achievement in order to give you the business skills to enhance your "business" success with that particular major.
