The District and CCFF Reach Agreement on Compensation

The Cerritos Community College District and the Cerritos College Faculty Federation (CCFF) reached a successor agreement to the previous comprehensive three-year contract agreed in 2019. CCFF has completed its process to ratify the successor agreement and the Board of Trustees also ratified the agreement at its August 17, 2022 meeting... Retiree Norma Rodriguez Recognized

The Cerritos College Board of Trustees recognized retiree Norma Rodriguez, director of Student Program Services, for her many years of service to the College on August 17. Norma Rodriguez began her employment at Cerritos College as an Intermediate Account Clerk III on October 3, 1982. Denise Marshall Named Employee of the Month of July 2022

The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee Denise Marshall was named as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month Award for July 2022. Denise began her career with Cerritos College in 1979 as short-term hourly and was hired into the Facilities department full-time in 1982. Falcon Cheer Team Hosts Hygiene Drive for Falcon's Nest

The Cerritos College Cheer Team is partnering up with the Falcon’s Nest to help support  students in need. The Falcon's Nest provides centralized support services for students facing basic need insecurities. The team will be collecting items on Wednesday, September 7, from 5 - 6 p.m. outside the Falcon Gym.  If you are unable to make this drop off, there are bins around campus from August 19 – September 7 to conveniently drop off any time... President's Hour Returns to Campus in Person

Dr. Jose Fierro hosted his first in person President's Hour since 2020 on August 16. Students and staff came by to greet Dr. Fierro. The next monthly President's Hour will be on Tuesday, September 20 at 11 a.m. in Falcon Square. Take a few minutes to share what's on your mind with Dr. Fierro.
