Dance
Welcome
Housed within the Fine Arts and Communications Division, the Dance Department offers students an exceptional student-centered learning environment. Focus is placed on a strong movement foundation, a holistic approach to dance and wellness, and individualized artistic expression and agency.
Our department is unique because of its diverse faculty members who differ in their aesthetic viewpoints, styles of teaching, and choreographic endeavors; so students from all backgrounds can be exposed to a multitude of creative opportunities and educational experiences. As faculty, we all share a commitment to providing students with the best possible dance education, whether it's your first dance class or you're coming out of performance retirement!
The department welcomes, encourages, and challenges all students who are willing to work hard and dedicate themselves to dance and what it can offer. We will foster your creativity and guide you in the knowledge & appreciation of dance.
We look forward to dancing with you!
