DEAR DENTAL ASSISTING APPLICANTS ~

In order to be in alignment with recommendations and mandates set forth from the CDC, to reduce the rapid transmission rates of the COVID-19 virus, the dental assisting department has an electronic application procedure. Read about the program admission process. Updated application and application instructions for the 2023-2024 application cycle (opening February 1, 2023) are coming soon!  The deadline is May 15, 2023. Thank you.

INTRODUCTION:

The Dental Assisting Program (DA) is a part of the Health Occupations division and offers both a Certificate in Dental Assisting and with additional course work, an Associates in Arts degree in Dental Assisting. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the State and National board examinations. The DA program offers a Summer Orthodontic Assistant course for our program graduates.

The Cerritos College Dental Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
