High School Students

  • 3.0 Cumulative GPA & Consistent Academic Record
  • Cerritos College Student ID#
  • Eligible to Enroll in Honors English 100 or 103
  • Honors Writing Requirement (Complete in the SHP)

College Students

  • 3.0 Cumulative GPA in 12+ IGETC units
  • Consistent Academic Record
  • Eligible to Enroll in Honors English 100 or 103
  • Honors Writing Requirement (Complete in the SHP)

Additional Concerns for New SHP Applicants.

  • Too many AP credits will make it difficult to complete the SHP; hence, an applicant may be denied admission to the SHP.  This is determined on a case-by-case basis once an application is submitted.
