Retail Management Program Pathways

For students who have decided to continue their studies beyond the certificate level, towards an Associates or Bachelors degree, we offer a number of established pathways to help you achieve your end goal as quickly and cost effectively as possible.

Option 1 - An Associates Degree from Cerritos College

An Associates Degree in Retail Management can open the door to additional professional opportunities and builds upon the skills you have already developed through the Retail Management Certificate program. This path is intended for students who DO NOT wish to transfer and continue their education beyond Cerritos College. Upon completion of the classes recommended below, you will qualify for an Associates Degree in Retail Management.

Option 2 - An Associates Degree with the intent to transfer to a 4 year university to work towards a Bachelors degree or beyond.

Students are welcome to pursue further studies at any university they choose. However, below you will find university level programs that have been vetted, and aligned to provide you with an excellent educational experience at a reasonable cost while utilizing as many classes as possible from your pervious course work at Cerritos College. Consider your career and education goals and check out the exciting options below!

CalPoly Humboldt

Enter as an upper division transfer student and pursue your bachelor's degree online in Leadership Studies at Cal Poly Humboldt. 

Estimated Costs:  Community College: 71 units @ $46/unit = $3266 (plus books & student fees)

Humboldt: 50 units @ $299/unit = $14,950 (includes fees)

Estimated Total cost: $18,216 (plus CC and HSU books, & CC student fees)

Grand Canyon University: Applied Management Major

Estimated Costs:  Total estimated tuition cost (Cerritos & GCU): $18,880

(Including 10%-20% discount for Cerritos College students).

University of Massachusetts Global (U MASS Global): Business Administration Major

Estimated Costs:  All WAFC Retail Management graduates are eligible for a 20% scholarship: $5,120/year with scholarship. All other Cerritos College majors are eligible for a 10% scholarship: $5,760/year with scholarship. All textbooks included!
