Angelica Oliva named Employee of the Month of January 2025

The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee named Angelica Oliva, Administrative Clerk III in Educational Partnership and Programs, as Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month for January 2025.

Angie began her career at Cerritos College in June 2021 as the Administrative Clerk III in the Educational Partnership and Programs Department.

Angie is truly the heart of the Teacher TRAC program, providing invaluable support to students and staff. Her unwavering commitment to helping our future educators realize their dreams is evident in everything she does—from managing the mentor program and supporting Cerritos College students and K12 mentors to overseeing the Teacher TRAC website, social media, and all marketing materials with exceptional attention to detail. Angie is the department’s “tech expert,” always sharing innovative tips that enhance efficiency, and she plays a critical role in organizing major events, including the 25th Anniversary celebrations and the cherished annual graduation ceremony. Her kindness, intelligence, and compassion make her an irreplaceable asset to the team and a beloved guide for over 200 students as they navigate their educational journeys. 

Angie, you embody the spirit of the Teacher TRAC program, and your dedication to Cerritos College deserves this recognition.
