Falcons fly high: women's wrestling secures three-peat at 3C2A State Championship
Women's wrestling celebrated its third straight 3C2A State Championship on April 19. The Falcons clinched the title with 222 team points, narrowly surpassing rival Mt. San Antonio, which finished with 211 points. The team saw significant success, including four individual state champions and a record-setting 12 All-Americans. Dhrumil Kharva featured in the UCLA Economics newsletter
Alumnus Dhrumil Kharva, who transferred to UCLA in 2023, was featured in the UCLA Economics Department newsletter. “Dhrumil is a first-generation student who immigrated from India and faced many challenges balancing his responsibilities—taking care of his parents while managing his education. However, he has persevered and is now completing his studies at UCLA,” said his former professor at Cerritos College, Solomon Namala. Bridging theory and practice: UCI Students dive into composites manufacturing at Cerritos College
Eleven students from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) mechanical and aerospace engineering program have enrolled at Cerritos College for the 2024–2025 academic year to participate in a unique hands-on learning experience. These students are all members of UCI's automotive competition teams, including Solar Car, SAE Mini Baja, and SAE e-Formula.
