Commencement Info Sessions for Graduates
Commencement information sessions are being held via Zoom.
These sessions will provide an overview of the day, a virtual ‘rehearsal’, what to
expect, information for your guests, and the ability to ask questions.
Both sessions cover the same content, so you only need to attend one. If you are not able to attend, a recording of one of the sessions will be emailed out to grads.
Register to attend a Commencement Info Sessions for Graduates:
REGISTER: Commencement Info Session on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 5pm
REGISTER: Commencement Info Session on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 12pm
Planning to Graduate in 2025–2026? Submit Your Graduation Petition to Cerritos College
Those who are cleared to graduate by Admissions will receive email communication during mid-Spring 2026 semester to participate in the Commencement ceremony on May 22, 2026.
Graduation Petition Timelines You Need to Know:
- Fall 2025 Graduation Petition Period: 8/11/2025 - 10/31/2025
- Spring 2026 Graduation Petition Period: 1/5/2026 - 3/20/2026

Summer 2026 Graduation Petition Period: 5/18/2026 - 7/10/2026
To participate in 2026 Commencement ceremony and to have your name printed in the
program booklet: Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 graduates need to submit their petition
by 3/20/2026.Email communication, for those students who have submitted their petitions, will begin
in April.
