- Total units required for ABA Paralegal Certificate are 28. Up to six units may be transferred into our Program, as long as (i) the units you want to transfer into Cerritos were obtained from another ABA approved program with a grade of pass or “C” or higher; and (ii) the transferring class is comparable to the Cerritos College Paralegal class
- Students must have completed an A.A. Degree or Bachelor’s Degree prior to enrollment in Paralegal Certificate program.
- All Legal Specialty course are marked with an asterisk (*)
- If you take less than a full load, it is strongly suggested you take LAW 56 either before or concurrently with LAW 100.
- Occupational Work Experience [LAW 171 through LAW 174] can be taken up to 4 units per semester or for a total of 16 units.
- If enrolled prior to Fall 2018, LAW 113 may be substituted for LAW 102.
