Completion Option A
All Courses Completed at Cerritos College
If all eight of your required retail management course were taken and passed at Cerritos College you will receive your Certificate in Retail Management, Certificate in Business Essentials and your WAFC certificate. Congratulations!
If you are a sponsored retail management student (your company is paying your tuition) and we have been enrolling you in your next courses during your time in this program, you do not need to do anything - we will automatically initiate the completion process on your behalf.
Your completion petition(s) will be reviewed by evaluators once the semester has ended and all final grades have been posted. The process will take approximately 4-5 months to complete once review begins. If you have met all degree requirements (including passing all retail management certificate courses with a C or better), your degree information will be posted onto your transcript first. If the petition is denied, you will be notified through your Message Center in MyCerritos.
If you are using courses completed at other institutions to fulfill your degree requirements, please be sure to send official transcripts to Cerritos College so we may use them in the evaluation of your petition.
