A 1940S RADIO CHRISTMAS CAROL

BOOK BY WALTON JONES
MUSIC COMPOSED AND ARRANGED BY DAVID WOHL
LYRICS BY FAYE GREENBERG

Directed by Naomi Buckley

SYNOPSIS:

A 1940s Radio Christmas Carol is a heartwarming holiday musical comedy set on Christmas Eve, 1943. The story follows the Feddington Players, a struggling radio troupe broadcasting from a small Newark, New Jersey studio as they attempt to perform their unique adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. When technical mishaps, missed cues, power outages, and the antics of a washed-up Broadway actor threaten to derail the live broadcast, chaos and comedy ensue. As the performance unravels, the cast improvises an outrageously funny film noir version of Dickens' classic tale, while themes of hope, redemption, and the true spirit of Christmas shine through. Filled with vintage holiday music, nostalgia, and laughter, the show celebrates the resilience of performers and the magic of the season.
