Due to the high demand and limited enrollment capacity of the Cosmetology/Esthetician Programs, applicants are required to complete an application for enrollment.

Follow the steps below to get started:  

1. Download, complete and print the application
2. Attain unofficial transcripts (Cerritos College students can submit a downloaded copy of their transcripts).
3. Letter of recommendation (ask a professional, teacher or employer; please do not ask faculty in the cosmetology department; letter of recommendation is not required but suggested for extra points).
4. Applicants must have completed ENG C1000 or ENG C1000E or EMLS 180.
5. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure the application is complete, and all supporting documents are attached. Faculty and staff are not responsible for any missing documentation. Applications can be submitted at the front desk at HS-301 in a sealed envelope.

All materials are carefully reviewed by faculty.

Notifications:

Faculty will notify Applicants by the end of the first week of October and will need a response back within 24-48 hours to ensure class availability and enrollment by spring semester enrollment date (mid-late October).
