Due to the high demand and limited enrollment capacity of the Cosmetology/Esthetician Programs, applicants are required to complete an application for enrollment.

Follow the steps below to get started:  

1. Download, print and complete the application: APPLICATION COMING SOON.
2. Attain Official transcripts
3. Letter of recommendation (ask a professional, teacher or employer, please do not ask faculty in the cosmetology department)
4. Applicants must have completed ENG 1000 or ENG 1000E or EMLS 180  or be currently enrolled at the time of application.
5. Submit Application, official transcripts and letter of recommendation in person to the cosmetology department located in the Health and Safety building on the third floor. 

All materials are carefully reviewed by faculty.  

Spring Application Deadline: September 15, 2026 by 3pm HS 301 and ask for Sherry Fregoso or Michelle Kiyabu

In-person submission allows applicants the opportunity to ask questions and ensure their application is complete. 

Faculty will notify Applicants by the end of the first week of October and will need a response back within 24-48 hours to ensure class availability and enrollment by spring semester enrollment date (mid-late October).
