Falcon Square Construction

Construction fencing around Falcon Square and the new Student Services Administration building will begin Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

With the fencing in place, many of the routes we regularly use across campus will change.

  • Map showing construction fencing, travel routes, and closed entrances
  • Map showing ADA access points

The most important message: please plan ahead and allow extra time to get where you need to go. This is especially important as we approach the start of the fall semester and campus activity increases.

The attached map and photo guide provides additional information about the primary routes that will remain open, as well as several entrances and walkways that will be temporarily unavailable.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Primary east-west routes across campus will be open all the way from Kinesiology to the Science building.
  • West and East walkways surrounding Falcon Square will be closed, and so will building entrances along those paths.
  • Follow all posted construction and directional signage.
  • Allow additional time when traveling to meetings, classes, appointments, or other campus activities.
  • An updated ADA path-of-travel map is also being finalized and will be shared shortly.

Construction conditions and routes may change as the project progresses. We will continue to provide updates as needed and appreciate your help in sharing accurate information with students and visitors.
