Dr. Jaclyn Ronquillo Honored with National Teaching Excellence Award

Dr. Jaclyn Ronquillo, Falcon alumna and associate professor of psychology, was selected as the 2020 recipient of the Wayne Weiten Teaching Excellence Award from the Society for the Teaching of Psychology. The national award from the American Psychological Association recognizes her outstanding teaching contributions in the classroom, her service, and her involvement in promoting and advancing the scholarship of teaching and learning. Congratulations, Dr. Ronquillo!

This week marks the close of Sexual Assault Awareness Month events. Today at noon, learn how the Cerritos College Title IX team and campus partners provide support to all staff and students when it comes to sexual assault, harassment, discrimination and more at the online Title IX Open House. On Wednesday, head to Instagram @CerritosCollegeFalconSafe to show that you are one of many sporting denim on Denim Day as part of a global protest against destructive stereotypes.
