Financial Wellness Program
The Falcon's Nest Financial Wellness Program is here to assist student experiencing financial insecurity. These programs include:
Emergency Aid
Emergency aid assists students in meeting financial needs as a result of an unexpected event or emergency. The purpose of this program is to assist students in staying enrolled in college and progressing toward graduation.
FINANCIAL WELLNESS
Financial Wellness Grants -In partnership with local credit unions and community partners we are now hosting opportunities for students to connect with a financial experts on banking, understanding credit, budget and savings, and understand Financial Aid. These workshops are designed to not only help students financially but to provide financial literacy.
Students that attend three (3) Financial Wellness Workshops can be eligible for a $300 grant. Ask your Falcon's Nest Social Worker for more information. Not connected to the Falcon's Nest, complete a Falcon's Nest Referral Form below.
CARD SUPPORT SERVICES
Gas, laundry, and grocery cards are now available for eligible students in need.
Eligibility:
- Enrollment in at least one course for the current session (based on date the request is submitted). \
- Proof of need will be verified through Financial Aid.
- Budget assessment, if requested for more than one month.
- Eligible students can receive cards no more than once per month, while supplies last.
- Other eligibility requirements may apply.
