Who Is Eligible to Win an Outstanding Faculty Award?
All certificated teaching and non-teaching faculty at Cerritos College. This includes all full-time and part-time professors, counselors, librarians, and faculty in student services (Student Activities, Student Accessibility Services, and Career Center).
What Are the Criteria?
- Outstanding dedication to teaching, coaching, and/or guiding students.
- Other criteria may include:
- Club and student activities involvement
- Student mentorship (student research projects, directed studies)
- Publications and/or grant writing
- Contributions to the college through committees, special projects, volunteerism, etc.
- Service to the community as a representative of the college
- Art exhibitions, concerts, public performances, etc.
NOTICE: Self-nomination in any form may result in disqualification.
Who May Nominate?
All current Cerritos College students and employees.
The nomination form is open from October 22 -- November 30, 2026.
