Cerritos College delivers L.A.’s top return on investment in education
A new study by the College Futures Foundation and The HEA Group ranks Cerritos College #1 in Los Angeles County and #10 in California for the return on investment (ROI) in higher education. According to the report “Golden Returns: A Regional Look at the Return on Investment of California’s Community and Career Colleges,” Cerritos College outperforms other two-year public institutions, with graduates recouping their investment in as little as two months... Health Science Building grand reopening on August 20
Cerritos College will celebrate the grand reopening of its newly renovated Health Science Building on Wednesday, August 20, from 5-6:30 p.m. The public is invited to join the special ceremony, explore the upgraded facility, and enjoy self-guided tours of the modernized space. EC Connect delights staff with tasty BBQ and vibrant celebration
The Executive Council hosted the End of Summer EC Connect BBQ to celebrate the wrap-up of the inaugural EC Connect series. Dr. Jose Fierro and the EC Crew fired up the grill to serve mouthwatering tacos for the employees. The campus community came together to indulge in those sizzling tacos, treat themselves to Punky's delicious ice cream, and enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with games and music. It was a fantastic celebration that brought joy and camaraderie to all.

Campus ditches over 1.3 million plastic bottles with 70+ water stations
Did you know that our college has more than 70 bottle-filling stations located throughout the campus? These stations allow students to refill their water bottles with fresh water, significantly reducing plastic waste in landfills. Cerritos Community College District ("District") is inviting all interested licensed contractors who wish to formally bid construction projects at the District to be prequalified for select trades.
