Employee of the Month for July 2025.
Jose Perez, whom his team calls JP, started his career at Cerritos College as a Groundskeeper in the Facilities department on May 2, 2022.
Jose is a true example of a team player. He consistently goes above and beyond his job duties, offering support across multiple departments within our organization. Whether it's assisting with special projects or volunteering for extra tasks, Jose is always willing to help wherever needed.
Despite his busy workload, Jose regularly checks in with his colleagues, asking how they are doing and finding ways to lighten their loads. His thoughtfulness boosts morale and promotes a strong sense of inclusion and support among the team. He frequently presents great ideas and encourages others to use their strengths for the benefit of the College as a whole.
