Public Relations and Communications team shines at 2025 Medallion Awards with silver and three bronze honors
The Public Relations and Communications Office won a silver award and three third-place
honors at the 2025 Medallion Awards from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR). This national
organization represents marketing and public relations professionals at community
and technical colleges. The team earned a silver award for the 2024 SOAR magazine in the magazine category, along with three bronze awards for the math boot camp video on Instagram in the social media story category, Cerritos Blue is Going Green in the campaign wildcard category, and for Dhrumil Kharva’s story in the excellence in writing category.
The Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges within each of NCMPR's seven districts. Cerritos College is part of District 6, which includes Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Territory of Guam.
