Application Process

3 Easy Steps to Apply:
The Office of International Student Services welcomes all international applicants. Read the details below carefully to submit a complete application. This will help us expedite processing:
STEP 1: SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
Start by creating an OpenCCC Account (if you haven't already).
Then begin a new application for Cerritos College.
Refer to the CCCApply International guide for detailed step-by-step instructions.
STEP 2: PAY APPLICATION FEE
A $50.00 US dollar (non-refundable) Application fee is required.
Once you submit an online application, you will receive a Welcome Letter within 24 hours that includes your Cerritos Student ID, username, and instructions to set up your MyCerritos Portal.
Once logged in, click Student Center and browse to the Finances section to make your payment.
STEP 3: SUBMIT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Your application is not complete until we receive all supporting documents. Review a complete list of supporting documents before completing the Supporting Documents Upload form.

Allow 10 business days for processing of a complete application.
Inquiries about the status of an application will only be released to the applicant and/or the authorized third party.
Note: Please be aware that all documents submitted become property of Cerritos College and will not be returned.
If you are currently in the U.S. in F-2, B-2, H-4, J-1, J-2, or any other visa status and you wish to change to F-1 status without departing from the U.S., please contact our office to request an appointment with an F-1 adviser BEFORE you submit an application.
