All courses in the FastTrack program are transferrable and count toward Cal-GETC general education areas.
FastTrack is for students who:
- Are new to college or have no general education courses (including Advance Placement or International Baccalaureate credit)
- Are pursuing a degree/transfer pathway
- Want a clear, structured first year with a set schedule fully online
- Are comfortable learning fully online
- Can dedicate consistent weekly time to coursework
- Prefer focusing on short format courses, fewer at a time
FastTrack may not be the best for students who:
- Have already completed several General Education requirements
- Are close to finishing a degree or certificate
- Need highly flexible pacing or frequent course substitutions
- Are repeating multiple courses
- Prefer in-person or hybrid classes
