These two Los Angeles Metro ➔ programs provide hands-on training and a clear path to great careers in rail operations and risk management.
Rail Operations of Maintenance-of-Wayside Systems (MOW)
Train for a skilled job in one of these roles:
- Track Inspector
Inspect and repair tracks and switches. - Traction Power Inspector
Work on electrical power systems. - Signals Inspector
Maintain and repair rail signal systems.
You’ll learn the skills needed to keep Metro’s railways running smoothly and safely.

This program prepares you for a career as a Worker’s Compensation Analyst, helping manage employee safety and claims.
