ASCC Awards Program
Each spring semester, the Associated Students of Cerritos College (ASCC) hosts an awards banquet that highlights our outstanding students who have dedicated numerous hours of their time to volunteer in social, cultural, educational, recreational, and leadership programs throughout the academic year. The ASCC invite all eligible Cerritos College students to apply for the ASCC awards.
The awards application will open in the spring semester.
Types of awards and scholarships presented at the ASCC Awards Banquets are:
- Bronze, Silver, and Gold Falcon Service Awards – Awarded annually to students who demonstrate outstanding leadership and service in student clubs and organizations.
- Legacy Awards - Presented at the Spring Awards Banquet to the people who have shown all of the qualities of a Gold Falcon recipient plus additional dedication in service and leadership for the entire school year.
- Bob Epple (ASCC) Scholarship - Awarded to students for their outstanding service to student government, excellence in academics, and leadership while attending Cerritos College.
- Inter-Club Council Scholarship - Awarded to students for their outstanding service to student clubs and organizations, excellence in academics, and leadership while attending Cerritos College.
- Outstanding Club and Club Advisor Awards - Presented to clubs and organizations for service on campus and in their community.
The organizations and clubs are an important part of the Cerritos College campus life.
Groups that are active in promoting student leadership and service are recognized
through these awards.
