Jay Bharat Meal Drive at Cerritos College Serves 600 Families
Cerritos College hosted a free drive-thru meal giveaway in collaboration with a local restaurateur Jay Bharat on May 1. Jay generously donated free Indian curry meals to help Cerritos College students and community members in need of food amid the COVID-19 crisis. Approximately 600 families were served with a two-pound vegetable curry meal.

President's Speaker Series on Zoom a Success
With nearly 60 participants, the first President's Speaker Series on zoom was a great success. Featuring the theme Challenge Yourself, presenters Damon Cagnolatti and Dr. Fierro encouraged participants to help students increase sense of belonging, and look for ways to increase self-confidence and become a better person after this hardship.
