Board of Trustees Condemn the Killing of George Floyd in AntiRacism Resolution; Reaffirms its Commitment to Diversity and Justice

At its June 3 meeting, the Cerritos College Board of Trustees adopted a resolutionPDF document to condemn the killing of Mr. George Floyd and affirmed its commitment to stand against systemic oppression. Virtual Commencement on June 23 / Lawn Sign Pick-up and Cap Contest

Graduates can pick up a 'Proud Cerritos Grad 2020' lawn sign this week: Wed, June 10, 12-4pm and Fri, June 12, 12-4pm
Lot 1 - In front of the Gym. Encourage graduating students to decorate a graduation cap and submit their image for a chance to win a cash prize! Submissions are due by June 9 via FalconSync. Visit the commencement webpage for more info.

Virtual Career Fair on June 11

Career Services will hold a virtual Career Fair on Thursday, June 11. Chat with various employers who are currently hiring and will be presenting an overview of their company, employee expectations, benefits, and how to apply. Students should pre-register for the event. Multiple sessions will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Talon Marks has started a new e-newsletter this spring to keep the campus up to date on what is happening and the surrounding communities. If you have not been receiving the e-newsletter, there is a chance when you subscribed the first time it did not go through. The issue has been fixed. Please take a moment and subscribe again. The latest Spring issue is out and can be viewed here. We may send out a few summer newsletters. During the summer Talon Marks will take a bit of a break, however you can find the latest stories and content on TalonMarks.com.

Triathlon Club is hosting weekly fitness class for students staff, and faculty interested in staying fit. Workouts are hosted on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. via Zoom. Register for the class
