What a Year! Cerritos College begins spring semester with a look at its best moments of 2020. Despite the unprecedented challenges due to the global pandemic, Cerritos College made a lot of exciting progress toward student success in 2020. The College opened California's first housing development for homeless community college students, and served more than 20,000 families through its monthly food drives, to name a few. Take a look

Meet the newly elected president of the Cerritos College Faculty Senate Dennis Falcon, assistant professor of political science. Meet Alumnus Eduardo Sierra 

Eduardo Sierra joined the College’s automotive mechanical family in summer 2016. He completed the General Motors ASEP in two years. Thanks to the ASEP program, Eduardo connected with Keys Chevrolet in Van Nuys, and was offered a job as a technician. “Because I completed the ASEP program, the industry saw my value. The program really opened a lot of doors for me,” he said. Eduardo plans to increase his knowledge and learn how to repair fleet vehicles. He recently became the proud owner of his first home. “There would be times students get discouraged along the way, but the reward at the end is worth all the efforts.”

Cerritos Community College District (“District”) is inviting all interested licensed contractors who wish to formally bid construction projects at the District to be prequalified for select trades.
