APIDA Week Brings Cultural Awareness

Cerritos College celebrated the Asian Pacific Islander Desi Awareness week February 8-11. A week full of events featured a talk with LA Southwest President Dr. Seher Awan, Chinese New Year celebration, mental health session, book reading, Bollywood dance, and the YouTube star T.J. Lee.

Free Virtual Legal Fair on March 6

Cerritos College Paralegal Program is co-sponsoring a free Legal Fair. Register by sending an email to SEDBAinfo@gmail.com, and you will be matched up with an attorney for a free 30-minute consultation on your legal issue. You will be able to communicate via Zoom, phone, or other platforms. March 6, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Hearts for Hygiene Cerritos College Falcon's Nest

Donation Needed for Hearts for Hygiene 

Since November 2020, the Falcon's Nest has been providing personalized Hygiene Kits to students in need. Supplies are currently running low and we are looking to the Falcon community to help stock our shelves. Let's Talk Series 13th Documentary Tonight

Join us for a discussion led by The Love We Don't See Founder and Cerritos College Alumni Sylvester Ani along with Student Trustee Johnny Wallace. Ava DuVerbay's thought-provoking documentary on The 13th Amendment explores the history of racial inequality in the United States, focusing on the fact that the nation's prisons are disproportionately filled with African-Americans. Tuesday, February 16, 4 to 6:30 p.m. Join via Zoom.
