Cerritos College Ranks Ninth Among Nation's Top 25 Community Colleges for Hispanics
Cerritos College is ranked ninth among the top 25 community colleges with the highest
Hispanic enrollment in the United States, according to the National Center for Education
Statistics/Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System Department of Education
database. Cerritos College is also ranked 19th with the number of associate degrees
earned by Hispanic students.
Cerritos College is a Hispanic-Serving Institution and boasts nearly a 70 percent Latino student population. In 2020, Cerritos College was ranked eighth among the top 100 schools in the nation with the highest Hispanic enrollment. The College was also ranked second in the state for Latino transfers to the California State University system in 2015.
The College is recognized as one of the leading institutions for Hispanics in the United States in the Top 25 Community Colleges for Hispanics issue of Hispanic Outlook (HO) magazine published on February 22.
