Diana Madueno Named Employee of the Month of February 2021
The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee named Diana Madueno as
the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month Award
for February 2021.
Diana began her career at Cerritos College in August 2019 as the Student Event Specialist
in The Student Activities Department. Diana is dependable, approachable, and contributes
creative ideas. In her role as the Student Event Specialist Diana has a multi-faceted
job that includes direct student support, responsibility for managing the ASCC funding
request process, and supporting the events and activities hosted by Student Activities.
She goes out of her way to support her team and our students, even scheduling events
or meetings at night to support student needs. She is also at every LA Regional Food
Bank distribution, volunteering at our sign-in stations. A new initiative that Diana
planned and implemented this year was a Student Programming Board (SPB), which coordinates
student volunteers in the facilitation of events open to all students.
Diana, your dedication, commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the students and staff are exceptional. The administration, staff, and students appreciate your personal attributes and outstanding efforts.
