Public Affairs Wins Gold in CCPRO Awards Again

The College's Public Affairs Office won first place in the PRO Awards' media success category for second year in a row with The Village at the Community College Public Relations Organization (CCPRO) Conference on April 30. PRO Awards celebrates the innovative and outstanding work done during the past year. In 2020, the College was honored with first place PRO Award for its Two Years of Free College with Cerritos Complete press conference. Congratulations!

Forensics Team Wins First Place at Final Tournament of the Season

Fourteen students represented the Cerritos College forensics (speech and debate) team at the Pacific Southwest Collegiate Forensics Association's online Cool-Off tournament on May 1 and 2.  Cerritos College won overall first place sweepstakes award for the tournament, beating out 16 other community colleges from across Southern California, Arizona, Washington and Wyoming... Senior Preview Day ‘Why Choose Cerritos College?’ Video

School Relations hosted its first Virtual Senior Preview Day - an open house designed for prospective students. To promote Cerritos College, the event kicked off with ‘Why Choose Cerritos College?’ video that successfully premiered on YouTube. The event included an exciting countdown and live chat session. Special thanks to ASCC for funding the video, which now lives on the Virtual Welcome Center page with 416 views in just two weeks.
