Cerritos College held the Virtual Welcome Day on August 6. Nearly 160 new students joined the interactive zoom session and learned about the Learning Career Pathways, tips to student success, support resources, and ways to be engaged on campus.

Statement on Texas Federal Court Ruling on DACA

Cerritos College stands in support with Dreamers and undocumented students. On July 16, a U.S. District Judge of the Southern District of Texas ruled the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program as unlawful. Under the DACA program, undocumented individuals who were brought to the U.S. as minors are permitted to remain in this country to work and get an education, including financial aid... Board of Trustees Passes Resolution to Develop District COVID-19 Vaccination/Testing Program

At its Special Board Meeting on August 4, the Cerritos College Board of Trustees passed a resolution outlining COVID-19 safety protocols for in-person attendance this fall. The resolution will take effect on August 5 through the conclusion of the academic year through June 30, 2022, with implementation set for September 30, 2021...
