College Celebrates Diversity Awards Winners
Cerritos College celebrated its diversity efforts at the Diversity Awards ceremony on April 6. The event kicked off with the keynote speaker Michael Carter, chief diversity office at Sinclair Community College in Ohio, sharing his thoughts on how individuals can make a change to create an inclusive community. Campus Community Tags Art Piece Celebrating Their Identity
The Office of Diversity, Compliance, and Title IX and the Diversity Awards Planning Team presented the Tag Your Identity event on April 5-6. Students and staff created an interactive art piece by "tagging" aspects of their identity with a spray paint can on a canvas. The one-of-a-kind masterpiece celebrating who we are will be displayed on campus.
