Retiree Alfred L. Rodriguez Recognized
The Cerritos College Board of Trustees recognized retiree Alfred L. Rodriguez, custodian,
for his many years of service to the College on June 12.
Alfred came to the college in April 2013. He started his career as an hourly custodian, became a full-time custodian in the health occupation building, and then moved to the Liberal Arts building. He has been an integral part of the facilities team, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. His efforts, often behind the scenes, have not gone unnoticed. Supporting the campus early mornings, his commitment and pride in his work have been truly inspiring.
"As he retires, I express our deepest gratitude for your many years of dedicated service," said Carlos Serna, operations manager. "His hard work, reliability, and attention to detail have kept our facilities in top condition and created a welcoming and safe environment for our students, staff, faculty, and our college community. You will be greatly missed, but your legacy of excellence, hard work, and kindness will remain with us always. I will miss your warm and welcoming smile every morning, eager to start your day and make a difference."
Thank you, Alfred, for your service and best wishes in your retirement!
