President’s annual holiday reception brings campus together
The spirit of the season was alive and vibrant at the annual holiday reception hosted
by President Dr. Jose Fierro on December 4. The event was not just a celebration of
the holidays; it turned into a surprise birthday bash as the President's Office and
VP team honored Dr. Fierro with a delicious birthday cake created by Culinary Arts,
a heartfelt card signed by the campus community, and a lively mariachi performance
to mark his milestone 50th birthday.
Everyone savored a delightful array of food and desserts crafted by our award-winning
culinary arts program, while the mariachi band kept spirits high with engaging entertainment.
The festive atmosphere was enhanced by a fun photo booth, where attendees captured
joyful moments together. Plus, in the true spirit of giving, participants generously
donated hygiene items to support students through the Falcon's Nest. It was a wonderful
afternoon filled with warmth, laughter, and community spirit.
