Santa's Village rings in holiday cheer

The college's Santa’s Village event on December 7 was a resounding success. About 500 community members celebrated the holiday season on campus with a photo opportunity with Santa and the campus mascot, Franco Falcon. The event was a delightful mix of face painting, arts and crafts, games, refreshments, and delicious food from the Taco Bite food truck. Marukan Cup of Culinary Excellence competition showcases student skills and program

Donate love, donate education: Plaza Comunitaria holiday fundraiser

Continuing Education’s Plaza Comunitaria, a Spanish literacy program for adults to improve their literacy skills to facilitate further education, is hosting a holiday fundraiser for its students. Come by the Community Education Building; there's a Holiday tree featuring stories from students sharing their backgrounds and academic aspirations. Pick up a greeting card from the tree, and you can learn about a student whose life you could impact through your donation.
